Mokuhanga, woodblock print with two matrices in four shades of blue (indigo, Antwerp, Prussian and turquoise) and one of black (sumi).
Signed, titled and numbered by hand by the artist (mm.160x230).
A perfect example printed by the artist on washi paper (handmade mulberry paper) from two Japanese limewood stencils, a total of 35 copies. The " bokashi " shading was perfectly executed in four passes, and to make the moon and its halo pearlescent, the artist applied a further pass of mica powder. Perfect preservation, with intact margins.
