Collection: JAPANESE PRINTS

The gallery stands out for the presence of numerous original Japanese prints and ancient Japanese illustrations Ukiyo-e, dating back to the Edo period, and Shin-hanga, made in woodblock printing . Among our masterpieces, the original Japanese prints by Hokusai Katsushika stand out, in black and white and in color, of which we offer the series One Hundred Views of Fuji and the manga sketches. Other works for sale are those by Hiroshige Utagawa, Yoshida Hiroshi, Hasui Kawase, Koitsu Tsuchiya and Koson Ohara. Finally, a selection of nishiki-e dedicated to the representation of flowers and landscapes and textile patterns .
