The focus is on Jesus The body of Christ, intensely illuminated, is hung lower than the other two resulting in his arms being stretched upwards, forming a “V” that frames the face and the crown of thorns. Below are four figures under the cross of Jesus, with the head almost hidden by a veil. In this work, Rembrandt does not reveal who among the present characters is the Mother of Christ. Various other characters with different postures both in the foreground and in the background, gathered in the drama. On the right, beyond a bowed horse, a thin pole or spear is glimpsed.

Each print is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity on letterhead, with precise information on the author, technique, condition, and, where available, edition size, references to catalogues raisonnés, and bibliography.
What are the dimensions of the artwork?
The actual image dimensions are provided in centimeters or millimeters, in the order of height by width. Upon request, it is also possible to obtain the dimensions of the white margins of the print sheet. Some works include renderings that offer an indicative simulation of the framed artwork displayed as a decorative element.
