Urbain Huchet (Rennes 1930 - Boulogne-Billancourt 2014) was a French painter and lithographer. Self-taught, he left his studies in law and the textile industry to dedicate himself to painting in 1960, spending three years in Pont-Aven, in the places of Gauguin and Émile Bernard, before settling in the Paris region. A great traveler (Middle East, Brazil, Peru, Mexico, Caribbean), he found his favorite subject in Paris, to which he dedicated over three hundred lithographs. He approached lithography as a craftsman in the truest sense of the word: he drew the stones himself and oversaw the printing, with a bright palette of Impressionist lineage that earned him a wide following even abroad, from the galleries of New York to those of Tokyo.

Absolutely yes. The gallery deals exclusively with original prints: lithographs, etchings, woodcuts, and screenprints from the 20th century, as well as a selection of Japanese prints by Masters such as Hokusai, Hiroshige, and Utamaro, and contemporary artists specializing in art prints. Each print is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity on letterhead, with precise information on the author, technique, condition, and, where available, edition size, references to catalogues raisonnés, and bibliography.
What are the dimensions of the artwork?
The actual image dimensions are provided in centimeters or millimeters, in the order of height by width. Upon request, it is also possible to obtain the dimensions of the white margins of the print sheet. Some works include renderings that offer an indicative simulation of the framed artwork displayed as a decorative element.

Can I return the item?
Certainly, as required by law: once you receive the print, if you are not satisfied with the purchase, you can return it. The shipping costs for returning the artwork in its original condition are your responsibility. For online purchases, a refund is provided. For gallery purchases, it is possible to obtain an exchange or a voucher of equal value to the returned artwork. We would like to specify that exchanges can also be made to acquire works of lesser value than the originally purchased artwork, receiving a voucher for the difference.
