Commentary
The ritual ascent of the mountain on the first day of the sixth month, by the followers of the Fujiko sect, worshippers of Fuji (as suggested by the ideogram “Fuji”, placed on their headdress), among cliffs of broken lava from eurya japonica shrubs.
The pilgrims advance compactly, one alone, raising his head, plays the horogai, the large shell used as a musical and religious instrument.
The panel is connected to the next one, representing the descent from the mountain.

Each print is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity on letterhead, with precise information on the author, technique, condition, and, where available, edition size, references to catalogues raisonnés, and bibliography.
What are the dimensions of the artwork?
The actual image dimensions are provided in centimeters or millimeters, in the order of height by width. Upon request, it is also possible to obtain the dimensions of the white margins of the print sheet. Some works include renderings that offer an indicative simulation of the framed artwork displayed as a decorative element.
