Gec lives and works in Turin. In 2007 he graduated in Architecture for Environment and Landscape at the Polytechnic of Turin. His work is mainly based on the use of the web in order to involve the public in the first person, without which none of his works could exist. The invitations to active participation aimed at the viewer investigate topics such as work, advertising communication, conscious consumption, play; their success depends exclusively on the response of the public and on the degree of interest that each project manages to stir on the net. The result is works often created in urban spaces without any authorization, ironic and dramatic environmental images or installations, capable of involving a transversal audience through a synthetic and immediate language.

Gec has participated in important exhibitions in Italy and abroad. His recent exhibitions include Schermi delle mie brame, Triennale di Milano, Milan (2014); Night falls, Civic Library Museum Mart, Rovereto (2013); Epidemic happiness, Venice Architecture Biennale, Venice (2012).
