Exit Enter’s little man: how the mark becomes a means of connection between individual, space, and community

Since 2015, Exit Enter has brought his little man to the walls of numerous Italian and European cities (Florence, Bologna, Rome, Naples, Venice, Barcelona, Valencia, Rotterdam, Brussels, Lisbon, Paris) and simultaneously continues his research on the mark and gesture, understood as a physical and instinctive experience, which he develops both in abandoned urban contexts and in the studio in a more intimate and reflective dimension. In 2017, he created his first large mural for the Street Art Museum Amsterdam, approaching commissioned work. In 2020, he co-founded the cultural association Artiglieria in Florence, an independent space for the promotion and sharing of contemporary art. In 2022, he published Ri-scritto, an editorial project in which he transforms negative words into positive ones, using the mark as a tool for change. In 2023, he presented the solo exhibition The Sign Beyond the Signature, ten years of research in over thirty works on canvas, paper, and wood.
Today, Exit Enter combines his practice with participatory formats like “Disegno Libera Tutti,” dedicated to overcoming creative blocks through collective works, and continues to move between street and studio, with site-specific interventions and painted works in which the mark becomes a means of connection between individual, space, and community.
