Splendid proof with good contrasts, in the third edition from the original woodcuts. Printed on Japan paper, in excellent condition, with clean edges all around beyond the marginal line.

The mountain is hooded by the air that has risen from the plain and condensed around the summit. Among these, in particular in the lower right, an itinerant dancer, specialized in shakkyo , the lion dance, considered the costume worn on the shoulder.
The title of the plate recalls the word kasagumo , "cloud hat", a term used to define the meteorological phenomenon illustrated.
