In the foreground appears a traveler, rendered with a delicate and realistic touch, who lifts his gaze towards the mountain and, instinctively, brings a hand to his headgear to hold it in place.\u003cbr\u003eThe artist also includes a wooden channel from which water flows, a detail likely born of his invention, as there is no trace of such a structure in reality. This compositional device, however, generates a curious effect, as the flow of water seems to pour directly onto one of the boats below.
